Wakefield is the hub of activity in the Western U.P. Located on the south shore of Sunday Lake at the junction of US 2, M-28 and Cty. Rd.519, the scenic lake is a natural for swimming, boating, fishing, having a picnic, family reunions, relaxing on the beach or walking around on a new 3-mile trail which circles the water.
